I think the Canthan Ferry Captain has the best job. Always has the sun shine on him. And then the parties on his ship. Everyday. Cool.

I like monks, cause you can hybrid it smite/heal and get invited to a bunch of groups and get yelled at for not healing properly but still getting exp and drops.

lol.

Oh, and I think gwen has the best job: anoying the bejesus out of everyone and leaving memories for both pre and post searing characters.

lol.

There is no best class in GW. Choose from your own preferences, thats best. You like to hit things with something? Go Warrior, nice armor and always in the middle of the enemy. You like setting things on fire (or shock things or freeze things or ward things)? Go for an Ele. You like standing in the back and let rain death on your enemies? Go ranger and your dream is fulfilled. Want to experience something new? Try the necro or mesmer class, some very nice and deadly things there. You like to be the one to keep everyone alive or protect them from harm, or, to a lesser degree, kick some ass? Go for monk.

And if someone says, go warrior, is easiest to play or go ele, every 12year old can play one (i am using a prejudice here, i know ), dont let misguide you. Every class in GW is easy to learn in the tutorial, every skill comes to the right time in the game, every class has its pro and contras. Thats why GW has 4 slots for characters, because they are all the best class

Have fun.

I'd say boon protector, the work is mainly putting on the various enchantments - Life Bond, Life Barrier, etc. initially. After that, casting blessed signet to keep the enchantments up is all you do if you're the lazy type.

I thought Boon Protector was using Divine Boon and protection spells to heal and protect in same time.

Maintaining enchantments is totally a different job... and not for lazy type, it's for sure.

Protector has to do a lot else than just to keep up his/her enchantments. One must remind warriors not to run too far ahead for Life Bond dies away, one must remind his fellows one doesn't heal well, and after all one has to manage to survive.

But what comes to Jobs out there... How about the Pig Farmer at Ascalon Settlement? Has anyone ever seen him actually herding the pigs? And does he ever go after the one which has ran away? And the place is pleasant and quite peaceful, and he has other people to talk to as well.

lol sure. I'll prepare a 200 page report and post it sometime in summer of 06.

Best job would be the rune trader. Pays dirt cheap price of 25 gold for most runes, and is so steadfast in his prices, nobody has ever haggled him down.

missions are part of the main storyline, and they take you around the map. Quests, are well....errr...quests hehe. You earn xp, skills, a few even reward you with gold or a skill point.

First time through the game you will want to do all the quests and missions. But if you go through it the second or third time to develop other chars and unlock more professions, you don't need to do every mission or quest.

I actually do all the missions with every char simply because of the skill points.
